Barcelona seems to still have not given up on chasing Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. This time, Barca are likely to make a swap deal by offering one of their players, Miralem Pjanic.
Napoli are reportedly interested in bringing Pjanic to Serie A. The news of this interest can be used by Barcelona to land Koulibaly in exchange for Pjanic.
Barca are also willing to let Pjanic go if it can lower Koulibaly's price. In addition, both players are known to have the same agent, Fali Ramadani, who is likely to facilitate the negotiation process. Ramadani is also reportedly set to meet Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis in Rome next week.
